Interview with new orleans musician
I interviewed a New Orleans Musician, Wayne Maureau, to get a first hand experience of how WWOZ supports him. He remarked that WWOZ is a great help with promotion and is a large part of the music community.
The color palette was chosen from a common art style of New Orleans Jazz posters. Bright and colorful just like the music itself.
Music Selection
I chose the song “Parading in the Quarter” on the album Home Grown by Wayne Maureau. This album is all about growing up in New Orleans and the song’s upbeat funky tune shows off New Orleans best.
Radio Interview
After the project was completed, the station manager asked me to come in for an on-air interview. We discussed the process in making the ad and motion graphics as a whole.

Script
After interviewing a couple of people who work with the radio station and New Orleans Muscians, I wrote a script that encourages people to donate and listen to the radio station, highlighting what the locals love about it.
